Our Team

Scott Roberts, a graduate of the University of Florida, is a licensed property & casualty and life, health and variable annuity agent. He began his insurance career in 1984 and later purchased the agency from his father in 1993. Scott believes in investing in his community and plays an active role in many clubs and boards. He is a member of Rotary, Kiwanis, Bradford ARC,, The Bradford County Education Foundation, Lake Butler Rotary, Keystone Heights Kiwanis, Bradford Masonic Lodge and is also a member of the Shands at Starke Hospital Board. Scott's goal as the owner/agent here at George Roberts Insurance is to always make the agency better, he strives to always focus on filling the needs of our clients.

Lori Thompson, a graduate of Bradford High School began her career at Roberts Insurance as a personal lines customer service representative in 1986. In 1992, Lori left the agency to help support her husband's career; an advancement which relocated them to Orlando. In 1995, she returned to the agency to assist Scott with the daily operations of the three agencies and to produce Life and Health. Lori believes that insurance is the perfect career, she knows there is always something about insurance that allows her to be of service to her clients. She enjoys providing them with the information to choose the right insurance to protect them and their family. Lori knows that we can't predict the future, but believes that if we plan for unforeseen times, our families will be better prepared for what lies ahead.

Karen Lazenby is a graduate of Bradford High School. She is a licensed property, casualty, health, life, and variable annuity agent who has been with Roberts Insurance since 1999. Karen has twenty-four years of experience in the insurance industry. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. At Roberts Insurance, it is Karen's personal goal to understand each client's needs so that she can help them quickly and efficiently.

Sandra Luke, holds an Associates of Arts degree from Santa Fe College and attended the University of Florida. Sandra manages the commercial accounts for the agency and is a licensed life, health, and variable annuity agent; she has been with Roberts Insurance since 1998. When she is not working, Sandra enjoys spending time with her family at the beach or attending her son's sporting events.

Gail Workman, originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan is a licensed Property, Health, Life and Casualty Insurance Agent who has been with Roberts Insurance since 2009 and has twenty-five years of experience in the insurance industry. Gail believes that it is the people that make the difference; she strives to stay focused on the customer and provide the right coverage for the right client. When she is not working, Gail enjoys a good book or movie and is active in her church.

Marianne Pringle, a licensed customer service representative with over 35 years experience in the insurance industry. She has worked with both commercial and personal lines and has many loyal customers in the Middleburg and Orange Park areas. She enjoys working with the customers and treating them as she would like to be treated. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family. Her favorite hobby is horseback riding.

​Born in Miami, Florida, Patty Kobiata is a graduate of Valley Stream South High School of New York. Patty is a licensed customer service representative who believes that every client deserves a warm welcome and friendly environment. Patty has been with Roberts Insurance since 1999. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her 2 grandchildren and listening to music.

Roxanne Gobbett is originally from Maryland. I just moved back to Florida in 2017. I am very grateful to join the Roberts Insurance team. I love to watch my grandson play baseball and enjoy my other grandchildren.

Chanel Dupree is originally from Lake Butler, FL. Before insurance, she worked in the medical field as a medical biller and coder. She has been a licensed Property, health, life and casualty agent since 2016. She enjoys educating her clients by making sure they understand their policies. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, their 2 daughters and stepson, riding roller coasters and crafting.

Sherry Crawford is from Bradford county and is a licensed CSR agent. Who has been with Roberts insurance since 2017. Sherry loves working with people to help them receive the best insurance for their needs. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her family especially her grand babies and her church family and she also loves to travel every chance she gets.

DarbyAnn Roberts, the daughter of agency owner C. Scott Roberts, graduated from the University of North Florida in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a specialization in management. DarbyAnn started her insurance career in our Keystone Heights office location in 2015, she has since transferred and is now the manager at our Middleburg location. In her free time, DarbyAnn enjoys going to the beach and spending time with her family and friends.

​Nicole Harley has been in the business since 2008, writing personal lines until 2014 then started writing  commercial lines business. I have a very close relationship with all of my insureds and consider them not just as clients but as friends as well. I have 2 boys, from Starke/Keystone area, when not working I enjoy spending time with my family who are all from the area as well.
